Jointly organized by the Research Management Office (RMO) and the Student Research Club, in collaboration with Colleges and RISE Centers, the Research Day & Bootcamp is a full-day event built for anyone who is curious about research, whether you are just starting out or already deep into a project.
Here is what to expect during the day:
SESSION 1 | Research Briefing
8:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Room I201
Join an inspiring session with our keynote speaker, Dr. Cấn Văn Lực, Director of the BIDV Training and Research Institute, Member of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council, and Member of the Vietnam National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (VNCPEC). Explore the latest trends in research, innovation, science & technology, and Vietnam’s development journey. A great opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, exciting insights, and new ideas for your own research path!
SESSION 2 | Research Fair
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Grand Hall, 2nd Floor, I Building
Walk through interactive exhibition zones covering VinUni’s three research clusters: People, Planet, and Prosperity. Come explore student and lab booths, join live social experiments, browse poster presentations, and sign up for lab visits.
The session includes a networking lunch, a chance to exchange your ideas with people you would not normally cross paths with.
SESSION 3 | Student-Led Research Bootcamp
2:00 – 6:00 PM | C201 – C203 – C204 – C205
Hear real research journeys from VinUni students and faculty, then roll up your sleeves in hands-on workshops where you solve real cases alongside experts across disciplines. A separate funding track also runs at the same time, where student project teams present their ongoing research to potential supporters.
Whether you want to find a research opportunity, meet a collaborator, or simply see what is happening across campus, there is something here for you.
