Dr. Doan Thi Thuy Duong has been a lecturer and researcher for over 15 years. Her current research activity is focused on maternal health, infant health, health policy and systems research using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has participated in more than 40 research projects as an investigator, coordinator, and researcher, being authored or co-authored in nearly 40 papers published in international journals. She has supervised about 20 postgraduate students (both Public Health and Hospital Management) on various subjects including HIV, HBV, maternal care, breastfeeding, mental health. Dr. Duong wrote a book chapter on adolescent health, maternal health, and health equality for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in public health. She also had experience as a consultant for international/local non-government organizations such as Save the Children, the World Health Organization, Social Impact/USAID Learns, and the Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI). She currently works as an Assistant Research Professor at College of Health Science, VinUniversity, Vietnam.
