Dr. Nguyen Thi Quyen received her M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Science from Dong-A University, Busan, Korea, in 2013 and her Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from the University of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2020. Her research during this period primarily focused on vaccine development for infectious diseases and monoclonal antibody research. Following her doctoral studies, she dedicated a year to working as a postdoctoral researcher at Chungbuk National University College of Medicine, South Korea, where she primarily assessed the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A virus. Dr. Quyen received a full scholarship for her Ph.D. program (2014–2020), a scholarship from the International Exchange Program in the USA in 2018, three awards for best poster and oral presentations at international conferences in 2019, an essay award at a STEM forum in 2019, and a dissertation presentation award in 2020. Since May 2021, she has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology. Currently, she is working as a principal investigator or team member on projects aimed at investigating, developing mesenchymal stem cell therapy and extracellular vesicle therapy, and investigating the safety and efficacy of these products for treating human diseases.
