Introduction

Before joining as an assistant professor at the College of Business and Management (CBM), VinUniversity in March 2022, Dr. Jin Suk (Jin) Park taught diverse management courses as an assistant professor at Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (ICS), Hitotsubashi University and as a lecture at University of Hawaii at Manoa. He obtained his BA (Psychology) degree from Seoul National University in Korea. He also studied in the U.S. while receiving his MA (Human Resource Management) at the University of Minnesota and PhD (International Management) at the University of Hawaii. This background has supported the interdisciplinary nature of his research. Dr. Park’s research emphasizes the connections between micro- and macro-level organizational behavior studies. His special areas of interest include organizational identity, organizational reputation, organizational learning, and work ethics. He has published his research in the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Knowledge Management, Applied Psychology, Personnel Review, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Behavioral Sciences, Frontiers in Psychology, and so on. His current research plan focuses on the following five topics: (a) industry innovation and entrepreneurship; (b) product identity and creativity of development team; (c) effective operation in the healthcare industry; (d) knowledge management and turnover in MNCs; (e) stigma and harassment in the workplace. His teaching philosophy is aligned with the interdisciplinary approach in the research. While studying and teaching at various higher educational institutions, he has experienced diverse, multi-cultural settings. Thus, he incorporates different areas not only in terms of academic disciplines but also in cultural features. Moreover, he is eager to implement digital and action-based content into classrooms by collaborating with academic and industry partners.
