Introduction

Dr. Tran Quynh Giao received the B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology in 2011 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Sciences, Vietnam, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Biotechnology from Chonnam National University and Korea University of Science and Technology, South Korea, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. She was a Postdoc Researcher at Cell Factory Research Center, Korea Research Institute of Biosciences and Biotechnology (March-August 2021). Dr. Tran is a molecular biologist who focuses on the stress responses in living systems ranging from microbes to multicellular organisms. During her higher education, she has become a specialist in genome editing and acquainted with RNAi and CRISPR/Cas9. She has authored or co-authored 14 papers published in prestigious journals. Dr. Tran also received awards four times for her best oral and poster presentations at international scientific conferences. Being able to communicate in English and Korean is one of her strengths. With a special interest in helping young students to achieve their goals, she is eager to join the VinUni team and contribute toward the growth of the University.
