Vu Anhdung

Dr Vu Anh Dzung is an educator, innovator and entrepreneur. Graduated with MBA degree (emphasis on International Business) from Webster University and PhD degree at University of Cambridge, Dr Dzung VU gains substantial experience in various senior executive positions in both academia and industry. He is the key founding member of 2 universities of excellence. He is also the Founder of “My Schools” social philanthropy – innovating and building schools and supporting children for education in disadvantageous mountainous and rural areas. He has developed and implemented different initiatives in higher education and brought innovative and advanced education models and practices worldwide to adapt to the institutions where he worked (Chaired and led the innovative educational framework of CDIO-based approach from MIT and CDIO organization – the CDIO initiative for higher educational sector in Vietnam that was applied to all programs at Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Developed and carried out “Leadership in Higher Education” Initiative & Round Table; Developed and implemented innovative and creative HASS – Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences – model effectively and successfully in the local context; Developed and initiated RISE philosophy concept that is incorporated into VinUni’s Vision 2030). Dr Dzung VU is an independent assessor on quality assurance and accreditation at both program and institutional levels certified by Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. He chaired and carried out successfully the 1st bachelor program in economics in Vietnam for international quality assurance assessment by ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) back to 2010 and led the team of Bachelor of Business Administration assessed by the same organization successfully in 2012. Dr Dzung VU had profound experience in business and industry. He founded BrotherIMC on integrated marketing communications. He is also the founder of other business initiatives. He is interested in liberal arts education philosophy. He was professionally trained as a Yoga master.
